President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s decree confirmed Vladimir Norov as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, the head of the President’s Administration Sardor Umurzakov introduced the minister to the team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Daryo source reported.
The head of the President’s Administration noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev was worried about the main problems facing Uzbek diplomacy and urged the Ministry to identify external threats in advance, take appropriate diplomatic measures against them, expand trade-economic and investment relations with foreign partner countries, and to protect the rights of our compatriots abroad.
Umurzakov instructed to organize, the SCO summit, the largest international event on the high level in September and the summits of the Organization of Turkic States in November.
