On August 5, the delegations of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany held intergovernmental consultations on financial and technical cooperation issues.
The politicians discussed the current and prospective projects with a total value of 350 million euros, including the project "Health, social protection and demographic policy" worth 170 million euros, "Sustainable economic development, education and employment" 148 million euros, the "Climate and energy, transition" (26mln euros) and the project of 6 million euros in the direction of "Peaceful and inclusive societies".
Germany is interested in expanding the bilateral financial and technical cooperation and fully supports the reform program under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
