President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has awarded the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov with the Order of “Altyn Kyran” (Golden Eagle), the highest state award of Kazakhstan, recognizing his contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing Kyrgyzstan’s development.

At the award ceremony, Tokayev praised Japarov as a “true leader and experienced politician” who is guiding the Kyrgyz people toward progress. He highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s steady economic growth and major reforms under Japarov’s leadership, including initiatives in the social sector, science, and education.
“Thanks to your balanced policy, the country has entered a new stage of development. Large-scale transformations are being carried out, which will undoubtedly strengthen the economy of Kyrgyzstan and increase its authority in the international arena. Your far-sighted steps have contributed to peace and stability in the region,” Tokayev said.

Tokayev also stressed the deep historical, cultural, and linguistic ties between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, stressing that the two nations’ strategic partnership is developing dynamically. He noted that new joint initiatives are creating momentum for further cooperation, particularly in light of regional challenges.
“Our allied ties are growing stronger. Important undertakings that meet the interests of both countries reflect true brotherhood and further strengthen our friendship. Therefore, I have decided to award you with the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Altyn Kyran Order. This award is a sign of special respect and sincere gratitude of Kazakhstan to you and all the Kyrgyz people,” Tokayev stated.
In response, President Japarov expressed gratitude to Tokayev and the Kazakh people, calling the honor a symbol of mutual respect and friendship between the two nations.
He emphasized that the award reflects the high level of trust and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, adding that he is confident cooperation will continue to deepen in the years ahead.
