Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries has reported a rise in its polypropylene exports, shipping over 150,000 tons from January to August 2024.
The exported polypropylene is reaching markets in Europe, China, Russia, and Türkiye. The plant produces eight varieties of polypropylene, including five new types that had not previously been manufactured in Kazakhstan. This expansion in product offerings is designed to meet a wider range of market requirements.
During the same period, the plant produced approximately 165,000 tons of polypropylene, with about 13,000 tons allocated to the domestic market. Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries continues to support local processors, aiming to enhance domestic production and supply.
