The Asian Cup of the "Zakovat" intellectual movement, which gathers the most brilliant minds from Central Asia, took place in Astana on August 5. This prestigious competition provides a valuable platform for strengthening friendships and facilitating knowledge exchange between the participating nations. National teams from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan showcase their intellectual prowess in this friendly contest.
During the opening ceremony, Saida Mirziyoyeva, the assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, delivered an insightful speech emphasizing the importance of such intellectual competitions in fostering closer ties between the two nations.
"Today, friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are an example for the whole world! Our guides were able to find answers to the most important questions. At a time when conflicts are increasing on earth, the political tandem of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is trying to turn Central Asia into the safest, prosperous friendly region," stated Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Mirziyoyeva highlighted the collaborative efforts of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, underscoring how these nations support each other in various fields. "Look on the internet how happy Kazakhs are over the victory of Uzbek athletes, and how our fans are cheering your champions. Yeldos Smetov from Kazakhstan and Diyora Keldiyorova from Uzbekistan won the first gold medals at the Olympics."
