Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov has successfully advanced to the semi-finals of the +92 kg boxing competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris on August 2.
Jalolov faced Teremoana Junior from Australia in the quarterfinals. In a competitive bout, Jalolov secured victory with scores of 4:1 in the first round and 3:2 in the second round, demonstrating his skill and determination throughout the match.
The third round showcased Jalolov's activity and tactical prowess, ultimately earning him a place in the semi-finals. His performance in the earlier rounds had already set the stage for his advancement, as he had previously delivered a decisive win against Norwegian boxer Omar Shiha.
Jalolov is now set to compete against Nelvie Tiafack from Germany in the semi-finals on August 7. This upcoming match will determine whether Jalolov can secure a spot in the final and continue his pursuit of an Olympic medal.
