Leading outsourcing company STAFFVIRTUAL has announced plans to establish a presence in Uzbekistan with the opening of a new office. The decision comes following negotiations between the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, Farhod Ibragimov, and STAFFVIRTUAL's CEO, Ike Stranathan.
STAFFVIRTUAL, renowned for its expertise in providing outsourcing services and back-office solutions, boasts a turnover of $250mn and a workforce exceeding 1,500 employees. With existing offices in California and the Philippines, the company has secured its position among the top 500 outsourcing firms globally, currently holding the 212th spot.
The meeting between Ibragimov and Stranathan centered on the facilitation of STAFFVIRTUAL's entry into Uzbekistan, backed by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan. Deliberations encompassed various aspects of Uzbekistan's IT landscape, including infrastructure, taxation, and legal considerations, with the aim of streamlining operations for technological firms within the nation.
Of particular interest were discussions surrounding potential collaborations between STAFFVIRTUAL and local IT companies, signaling a commitment to fostering innovation and knowledge exchange within Uzbekistan's tech sector.
The inauguration of a STAFFVIRTUAL office in Uzbekistan marks a step in nurturing the country's IT industry and enhancing its appeal to international investors. The company has already initiated the process of legal entity registration in Uzbekistan, underscoring its commitment to leveraging innovative technologies and attracting foreign investment to the region.
