The collaboration was solidified through the signing of a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation, outlining key areas of focus for their partnership.

The collaboration extends beyond conventional partnerships, as the Center for Scientific Achievements at the Academy of Civil Aviation aims to spearhead research and development efforts in Smart technologies specifically tailored for the aviation sector.
Kazakhstan-South Korea Relations
The collaboration between the Academy of Civil Aviation and Urielsoft is underscored by the strong historical ties between Kazakhstan and South Korea. The two nations established diplomatic relations on January 28, 1992, paving the way for a multifaceted partnership that has only flourished over the years.
With the inauguration of the Republic of Korea's embassy in Kazakhstan in 1993, followed by Kazakhstan reciprocating with an embassy in the Republic of Korea in 1996, the diplomatic relations have evolved into an expansive strategic partnership currently in an active phase of development. Bilateral Friendship and Cooperation Groups operating between the Parliaments of Kazakhstan and South Korea foster collaboration at the legislative level, showcasing the depth of their partnership.
South Korea has emerged as a significant foreign investor in the Kazakh economy, with cumulative investments exceeding $8.1bn since 2005. In the first nine months of 2022 alone, Korean gross direct investments reached an impressive $1.1bn, underlining the robust economic ties between the two nations.
As of February 2023, over 700 legal entities, branches, and representative offices actively participate in business ventures with South Korean involvement in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
