A governmental delegation of Turkmenistan recently held talks with top managers of Deutsche Bank AG and Commerzbank AG in Germany, local TV channel Altyn Asyr reports.

"Interaction in international financial and banking spheres is one of the main areas of economic cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany".

Negotiations were also held with the executives of CLAAS and Wilo. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of technology, innovation, investment, digital technology, the green economy and water management.

The TV report says a joint Turkmen-German economic forum will be held in Germany in October this year.
