Tashkent recently hosted political meetings between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The missions were headed by Laziz Qudratov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, and Suhail Al-Mazrui, UAE's Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
Suggestions to speed up political communication and inter-parliamentary contacts, broaden contractual and legal regulations of collaboration and economic relations, and manage operations within international organizations were discussed.
The conference also addressed different aspects of Uzbekistan-UAE multilateral relations, with an emphasis on the complete execution of high-level agreements. The discussions also highlighted the potential for reactivating industrial relations and expanding tourism interactions.
