In January-March 2023, the production volume of fuel rose by 33.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2022. The statistics agency under the President of Uzbekistan reports.
In the first quarter of 2023, 385,500 tons of car petrol were produced which is 96,500 tons more than last year.
Another fossil fuel, coal production slowed down 989, 000 tons in three months whereas oil output grew from 183,000 tons to 195,500 tons.
The production of natural gas plummeted by 31.5 thousand tons compared to last year (319,500 this year).
