Taliban supreme leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada said in his address on the occasion of Ramadan that religious leaders should dissuade the people from any "rebellion" against the Taliban movement, Daryo's special reporter in Afghanistan informs.
The Afghan Deobandi Islamic scholar Akhundzada pointed to the duties of the religious scholars in Afghanistan and ordered them to explain the values of the Islamic system to the people by giving sermons on the mosque pulpits.
The cleric also talked about the plans to end the cultural, educational, economic and media influence of foreign countries.
In Akhundzada’s greetings, the judicial and legal reforms of the Taliban, the activities of the trade ministry, the interference of neighbouring countries and the world in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, the obligations of the Taliban soldiers, security and other issues were mentioned.
The leader of the "Taliban" touched on the relations with the international community and the scheduled meeting of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries in Japan.
On April 17, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also wrote on his Twitter page that this issue was discussed at the meeting of G7 foreign ministers, but did not provide details.
