The meeting discussed matters of implementing high-level agreements and the prospects of expanding the comprehensive partnership between the two countries. The high-ranking guest delivered Emmanuel Macron's warm greetings and a personal letter to the head of state.
The parties agreed to continue active political dialogues, increase the volume of mutual trade, to modernize "green" energy with leading companies and banks of France. Both sides emphasized the importance of promoting joint large-scale projects in mining, agriculture, textiles, water supply system, transport, and tourism infrastructure.
The success of cultural events and exhibitions recently held at the Louvre Museum and the Institute of the Arab World in Paris was duly appreciated during the meeting. Initiatives on expanding the study of the French language in Uzbekistan schools were also discussed. Lastly, participants exchanged opinions on the current aspects of regional cooperation in Central Asia.
