French company Airbus S.A.S. has delivered Turkmenistan's first P2F cargo aircraft of the A330 200 model, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on March 18.
"The purchase of the new cargo aircraft with a range of more than 13,000 km and a payload capacity of 60 tonnes is an important step in the implementation of the country's comprehensive strategy of the leadership to create a major transport and logistics hub linking Asia and Europe."
The delivery was made under a contract signed in 2021. A second aircraft of the same modification will arrive shortly. Aircraft maintenance and flight crews are trained in Singapore and France.
