Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the M-Clinic, a multifaceted medical center in Tashkent, the president's press office reports.

The institution has 95 inpatient beds for adults and 33 for children and a polyclinic designed for 1,400 visits. They will be launched in the coming months. In addition, the medical center will provide services in 50 areas of medicine.

In particular, the center will have five surgical rooms for cardiology, angiography, traumatology, neurosurgery, gynecology, and urology. They will be able to perform 5 thousand high-tech operations per year. In addition, advanced equipment allows for minimal incisions and quick rehabilitation.

Mirziyoyev instructed the officials to turn the center into a base institution in certain areas, improving the qualifications of doctors based on their experience here.
A 120-bed hotel for relatives of patients was also built in the complex. As a result of the opportunities created for the development of private medicine, the number of private health centers in Uzbekistan has exceeded 8 thousand.
