On January 30, the body of a 43-year-old F. Kh.’s was repatriated to Uzbekistan who reportedly was shot dead in Ukraine.
According to the deceased's mother, the son worked as a welder in Uzbekistan but went to Russia in order to earn more money and spent several years going back and forth there.
In November 2019, F.Kh, travelled to Russia again and after a month was arrested for hooliganism. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
The departed told his sister on phone, who currently lives in Russia, that he was forced to go to Ukraine. And since December 2022, there was no communication.
The mother of F.Kh said that at the end of January 2023, she received a message about her son's death.
It is believed that the bomb hit the place where he worked. F.Kh’s brother barely recognized him because the body was seriously injured.
Earlier, the USA announced that the "Wagner" group had sent 40,000 prisoners to the war in Ukraine where 90 per cent of the "mercenaries are prisoners. In January, six prisoners, including citizens of Uzbekistan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, escaped from the training centre of the private military company "Wagner" in the Lugansk region. The recruits escaped when they were ordered to go to the combat zone.
