The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan have taken out 135 dead people who were buried under the rubble of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to reports, on February 13, rescuers pulled out another 28 dead from the rubble. Thus, the number of dead people rescued by Uzbek rescuers reached 135. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
Since the start of search and rescue operations, that is, since February 7, 16 victims have been rescued by Uzbek detachments, and 135 dead people have been brought out. Uzbek, Mexican and Turkish rescuers saved two people using service dogs.
Currently, 100 rescuers sent from Uzbekistan and more than 70 doctors sent by the Ministry of Defense are serving in the area.
