Qeshm Air intends to launch direct flights from Tehran to Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent and the historical city of Samarkand on December 22, the Iran Daily has reported.
The message says that during the official visit of the President of Iran to Uzbekistan in mid-September, 18 agreements and memorandums were inked to expand bilateral multifaceted cooperation. These include the ‘Agreement on the facilitation of visa procedures for representatives of business and scientific circles and tourist groups” and the “Program of cooperation in the field of tourism for 2022-2025’.
The article emphasizes that the increase in direct flights between Uzbekistan and Iran would create a favorable environment for the development of the tourism industry and amicable ties between the two peoples would continue to be strengthened.
