Samarkand airport on Monday (December 5) introduced restrictions on serving aircraft due to worsening weather conditions, Uzbekistan Airports reports.

The message says that the visibility considerably dropped and moderate snow is affecting the operation of flights.

‘Airport ground handling services are taking all necessary measures. They are cleaning the runway and taxiways with the help of special equipment and chemical reagents,’ the report reads.
