In January-October 2022, 1.9 million tons of cement worth $80.5 million were imported to Uzbekistan which is less by 401.7 thousand tons compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.
The following are the main countries that imported cement from Uzbekistan in October 2022:
- Tajikistan - 841.8 thousand tons;
- Kyrgyzstan - 575.3 thousand tons;
- Kazakhstan - 508.5 thousand tons;
- Iran - 15.2 thousand tons;
- Turkmenistan - 11.6 thousand tons;
- China - 1.4 thousand tons;
- Russia - 1.1 thousand tons.
