According to Amrillo Inoyatov, the first deputy minister of health, the construction of a new building, combining the Republican Oncology Center and its branches in the capital and Tashkent region into a single unique complex, was awarded Mimar Group Ltd. based on a closed decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health stated that the complex building consists of 8 floors, 650 places are intended for inpatients and 100 places for day inpatient treatment.
Daryo's correspondent found out that 600 billion soums will be spent on the construction of the complex.
The State Asset Management Agency also reacted to the news on social networks about the construction of a new oncology centre.
The agency called the grounds that the land area of the objects mentioned in the news was put up for sale at the initial price of 3-4 thousand dollars completely unfounded and stated that these property complexes were evaluated by independent appraisal firms in accordance with the procedure established by the law.
Based on these appraisal reports, the initial price of 1 square meter of land is equal to 300-345 million souls (27-31 thousand dollars). The only unique complex of the Oncology Center under construction is expected to be launched in May 2023.
