On October 6, the Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan, Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov, met Mohamed Khalil Khedr, Chairman CATGO – Cotton Arbitration & Testing General Organization, Dunyo News Agency reports.
CATGO and the "Sifat" cotton fibre certification centre under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan agreed to establish close relations, and exchange technology and experience in cotton fibre certification and testing. The officials also reached agreements on the training of CATGO training course by the end of the year for the representatives of the "Quality" centre and 5-6 scientists and specialists working in the field.
According to the information provided by Uzbekistan’s embassy in Cairo, CATGO was established in 1975, which mainly studies cotton quality, its further improvement and conducts scientific research.
