The national football team of Uzbekistan for amputees won against Italy in the quarter-finals of the World Championship in Turkey 5:1.
Haydarali Tursunbayev opened the scoring sheet in the 4th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Kudrat Khudoykulov netted the second goal. Azizjon Azimov executed a penalty increasing the score by 3 in the 22nd minute. In the 26th + 1st minute, Umidjon Abduhalimov had another penalty. Ulugbek Tashpolatov also hit in the second half. In the 46th minute, the Italians scored the consolation goal.
Thus, the Uzbek national team reached the semi-finals. The winner of the Morocco-Turkey match in the quarter-finals will face Uzbekistan in the semi-finals.
