In Samarkand, the railway agencies of China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project (section on the territory of Kyrgyzstan). "Daryo" correspondent reports.
It is expected that the railway construction will boost the transport and transit potential of the entire Central Asian region. The railroad track will connect China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan with the ports of the Caspian Sea and Europe, as well as the ports of Pakistan via the Trans-Afghan railway.
