President Mirziyoyev awarded the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the “Two Holy Mosques”, one of the highest awards of Uzbekistan - the Order of "High-ranking Imam Bukhari", the press service of the President reports.
The order that was introduced on August 15, 2022, is awarded scientists, researchers, writers, as well as leaders of foreign countries and governments for their special services in the development of knowledge, learning and wide dissemination of the heritage of the thinkers of the Islamic world.
Hence, the King of Saudi Arabia has become the first person to receive this award.
