Khairulla Bozorov, khokim of the Fergana region, met with Dyula Kovach, the extraordinary and autonomous ambassador of Hungary to Uzbekistan, Daryo correspondent reports.
The officials negotiated the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation between the Fergana region and Hungary in agriculture, industry, banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, and education.
They agreed to establish cooperation between the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Natural Sciences and the newly established Kokan International Institute of Food Technology and Engineering.
Bozorov also announced the visit of the Fergana public sector and business representatives to Hungary.
At the meeting, it was agreed to develop a "Roadmap" aimed at developing trade-economic and investment relations between the Fergana region and Hungarian regions.
