The two of Central Asia’s longest bordering states have come to an agreement on the demarcation of the state frontiers, reports Dunyo information agency.
Between July 25 and August 5, the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan met and discussed the demarcation of the countries’ border lines in Alma-Ata.
The joint commission reached an agreement on the draft bilateral agreement of the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan state border demarcation, and the compilation of the final draft documents.
The next meeting will be held in Uzbekistan on a date agreed through diplomatic channels.
