Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Tim Torlot, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Uzbekistan.
The top diplomats discussed the current issues of strengthening and expanding cooperation in political, trade, green-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres.
The ambassador noted that the British government supports the large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years in all aspects of society.
The British government expressed its interest in continuing bilateral consultations with the Uzbek side on the issue of Afghanistan.
