President Mirziyoyev called on the Afghan interim government to comply with the main requirements of the world community that particularly stipulates to have no connection with any international organizations, "Daryo" correspondent reports.
"We call on the current government of Afghanistan to show its firm will and take drastic measures to prevent and combat all forms and manifestations of terrorism, to sever ties with all international terrorist organizations," the head of state says.
"For Afghanistan, it opens up clear prospects for sustainable development in an atmosphere of friendship, close neighbourliness and mutually beneficial cooperation with neighbouring countries and the international community," the address continues.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also drew attention to the importance of Afghanistan's integration into interregional economic processes.
"The entire international community needs to show solidarity with the Afghan people. We must mobilize our efforts to create a solid foundation for turning Afghanistan into a peaceful, stable and prosperous country, free from terrorism, war and narcotics," said the address of the President of Uzbekistan.
