Uzbekistan's Consumer Price Index (Inflation in consumer sector) in June dropped below 1 per cent showing 0.9 per cent, the State Statistics Committee reports.

Since the beginning of the year, the CPI had shown 6.5 per cent, with an annual rate of 12.2 per cent.
In June, food prices increased by 1.1%, non-food products by 0.9%, and services by 0.8%.
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan forecasts inflation at 12-14 per cent in 2022 which was 9.9 per cent last year.
