Turkmenistan and Albania have reached an agreement focused on attracting investments between their business communities. This announcement followed a meeting between Rashid Meredov, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, and Igli Hasani, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The discussions highlighted several key areas for cooperation, including the expansion of trade relations, industrial collaboration, and tourism initiatives. Both parties expressed interest in identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to enhance economic ties between the two countries.
The importance of strengthening cooperation between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Albania was emphasized during the meeting. The officials noted that establishing regular dialogue, including the accreditation of ambassadors and political consultations, is essential for fostering closer bilateral relations.
The meeting also included discussions on the development of joint documents aimed at advancing intergovernmental collaboration across various sectors.
