The ‘Ok Kush’ complex in Uzbekistan's Nukus has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for housing the world's largest national yurt of the Karakalpak people. The yurt, which measures 40.5 meters in diameter, has earned international acclaim for its size and cultural significance.
The Guinness World Records certificate was presented at the ‘Ok Kush’ complex on August 22. The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Tursinhan Khudaibergenov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, Amanbai Orinbayev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan, as well as representatives from state bodies, local youth, and media.
This recognition highlights the cultural heritage of Karakalpakstan and serves as a significant contribution to promoting Uzbekistan's cultural values on a global scale.
