President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with Saida Mirziyoyeva, the assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, to discuss the further development of the multilateral partnership between their two nations, as it was reported by the Akorda press service.
During the discussions, President Tokayev emphasized the strategic nature of mutual cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the established close relations between the presidential administrations, which are crucial for effectively expanding high-level political dialogue.
The talks focused on several key areas of cooperation. President Tokayev and Mirziyoyeva discussed deepening mutually beneficial collaboration in the informational, ideological, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres. They also highlighted the importance of youth policy in strengthening bilateral ties.
An important point of discussion was the proposed international intellectual games, "Zakovat," to be held in Astana. President Tokayev expressed his support for this event, noting its importance for cultural exchange between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
