On the night of April 3, unknown persons cut down thirty-five ornamental trees in the Tabassum neighborhood of Karshi. In particular, juniper, willow, mulberry, alder, Eldar pine, and other trees were affected. Damage to the plant world was estimated at UZS 151.6mn.
At present, the City Internal Affairs Department, officials of the Ministry of Nature's regional department, Ecological Party representatives, activists, journalists, bloggers, and other official organizations are studying this situation.
