Another case of alleged cruelty in Tashkent; locals assume stray puppy was shot in eye 

Another case of animal cruelty was recorded in Tashkent; a puppy was allegedly shot in the eye in the Yangikhayot district of Uzbekistan's capital. Reportedly, the Ekologuz group is working on this issue. The puppy is severely injured. 

As representatives of the NGO 'Ekolog' told Daryo, 'residents of the area complained that they repeatedly heard the shooting sounds and assumed that the puppy, along with other stray dogs in the area, was shot with an air gun.'

Indifferent citizens and NGO 'Ekolog' employees are monitoring the puppy's condition.
