The Kyrgyz Republic has increased cattle exports to Uzbekistan sevenfold in 2022, AKIpress reported on Monday (February 20) with reference to the National Statistics Committee.
The agency notes that 20,000 heads were exported to neighboring Uzbekistan compared to nearly 3,000 heads of cattle shipped in 2021.
Export amounted to $17mn or $846 for one animal on average. Reportedly, Kyrgyzstan also exported 100 heads of cattle to Azerbaijan.
