Nurimon Abulhasan has been appointed as the executive director of the Association of Umrah Pilgrimage Travel Agencies of Uzbekistan.
The Association of travel agencies for Umrah pilgrimages comprises 10 agencies. Association chairman Sherzod Sami informed "Daryo" about this.
"Our goal is to jointly eliminate mistakes and shortcomings made by agencies, to help each other. We are also planning to include the association in the membership of the Hajj Commission," Sherzod Sami said.
Nurimon Abulhasan, a former official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was introduced to the team as the executive director of the association who had worked for many years as the chairman of the Hajj Commission.
In 2019, Lt. Col. Nurimon Abulhasan was appointed as the head of the Department of Counter-Terrorism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Since April 2018, he has worked as the deputy chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs - the director of the information and analysis centre for the study of religious and social processes.
He graduated from Tashkent Islamic Institute (1994) and Al-Azhar University in Egypt (1997). He worked in various positions in the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Office of the President and the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
