Uzbekistan Airports has procured a batch of four state-of-the-art apron buses from the renowned German manufacturer, Cobus Industries, for Tashkent Airport, the press service of the airport reports.
Cutting-edge Cobus 3000 Model
The latest acquisition includes the Cobus 3000 model, distinguished as the largest variant within the Cobus product line. As per the report, the bus boasts impressive dimensions, with a body length of approximately 14 meters and a width and height of 3 meters.
With a seating capacity for 104 passengers, comprising 10 seats and 94 standing places, the Cobus 3000 prioritizes passenger comfort and efficiency. Featuring eight doors, including six automatic ones, the bus ensures swift boarding and disembarking procedures.
Notably, the Cobus 3000 is equipped with a pneumatic system designed to raise and lower the floor, facilitating seamless entry and exit for passengers with disabilities, as well as those traveling with luggage and strollers.
Environmentally-friendly Options
In line with modern sustainability initiatives, the manufacturer offers optional engine configurations for the Cobus 3000, allowing operators to choose between diesel or liquefied natural gas-powered models.
Earlier, it was reported that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a visit to the Andijan industrial hub in the Andijan region, has initiated the implementation of a $100mn electric bus assembly project, naming them vehicles "Silk Road Buses".
