During a historic visit by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the French Republic, Macron, the branch of the French Alliance in Samarkand was inaugurated, fostering bilateral cooperation in cultural and linguistic exchange.
The French Alliance, a renowned non-governmental organization established in Paris in 1883, has been instrumental in promoting the French language and culture worldwide, with over 800 branches operating in 137 countries.
Following the successful opening of the first alliance branch in Tashkent in 2015, the decision to establish a second branch in Samarkand further strengthened the cultural ties between the two nations.
