Jung Kook from BTS is currently garnering significant attention on social media with the release of his debut solo single, "Seven," featuring Latto. Just a week after its release, the song has already broken several records.
The singer's dedicated fanbase, known as ARMY, has enthusiastically praised "Seven," hailing it as the ultimate summer anthem.
Within three days of its release, "Seven" dominated the global Spotify chart, amassing 13.48 mn views.

The song also earned a spot in the top 100 of Melon, Korea's largest music streaming service.
Early projections indicate that "Seven" is poised to debut at the second position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, closely trailing Morgan Wallen's "Last Night."
The music video, skillfully directed by Bradley and Pablo, achieved 9 mn views within a mere three hours of its release. Moreover, "Seven" debuted at an impressive third place on the British Big Top 40 chart, securing its position as the most successful debut by a Korean soloist in the past decade.
BTS has been a global sensation since their debut a 10 years ago, significantly elevating the prominence of Korean culture worldwide. They have been recognized as the best-selling artists globally, surpassing even renowned names like Taylor Swift and Adele. Additionally, the group achieved a groundbreaking milestone as the first Korean act to top the UK charts with one of their albums.
According to group's management HYBE, BTS members plan to go on a hiatus around 2025, following the fulfillment of their mandatory military service. At present, while some members serve in the South Korean army, others, including Jung Kook, have been granted the opportunity to release their solo material, exemplified by the recent success of his single "Seven."
