As part of the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Uzbek President adopted a joint statement aimed at expanding cooperation in the fields of politics, trade, economics, investment, culture and education.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Investments, Industry and Trade of the two countries and the Main Department of Egypt's Investments signed some agreements related to the public health care system, bilateral investment projects, and technical regulation.
The Center of the Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Oriental Science named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, the Institute of Oriental Studies of Uzbekistan and the National Library and Archive of Egypt also put the pen on paper to further strengthen multilateral cooperation.
