Tashkent’s theatre named after Alisher Navoi has held the concert of the SAI famous Japanese drummer group to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Japan-Uzbekistan relations.
The event chaired by the Japanese diplomatic mission jointly with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of culture attracted many admires of the culture of the country often called the land of the rising sun.
The guests were able to listen to the play of Vadaiko drums which are very common in Japan.
Another group of Japanese drummers performed in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent. In August 2016, the ‘Drum Tao’ band performed in the same hall of Navoi theatre, and their play was well remembered by the audience thanks to the bright costumes, spectacular game techniques, and complex rhymes.
