On September 8, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia took part in the official opening ceremony of the "18th Halal International Exhibition - 2022" (MIHAS-2022), "Dunyo" news agency reports.
The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Ismail Sabri bin Jacob, opened the world's largest event in the halal industry is held annually in the capital of Malaysia since 2004 and organised by the International Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) under the Malaysian Ministry of Trade and Industry where early 500 companies from more than 40 countries tout their Islamic products.
The participants also found out more about the export potential of Uzbekistan, the measures being implemented to release local products to the markets of foreign countries, and the international transport corridors used to reduce the cost of products.
The Uzbek and Malay parties agreed to hold exhibitions and fairs for two county businesses that should help the development of mutual trade and economic relations, as well as the delivery of commercial offers of products produced by local enterprises with the "Halal" certificate to potential buyers in Malaysia in order to develop the Malaysian market.
