There were reports on social networks that patients experienced various side effects after taking "Dok-1 Max" tablets and syrup purchased from pharmacies in Samarkand. The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Network responded promptly to the incident.
The head doctor of the Children's Multidisciplinary Medical Center of Samarkand region said that in the last two months, 21 people complained after taking "Dok-1 Max", 17 children had been in critical condition before 15 of them died.
Currently, the task force (the Agency and the State Center for Expertise and Standardization of Medicines, Medical Products and Medical Equipment) formed to study the condition of the patients is trying to determine the causes of the kids’ deaths.
The specialists are examining "Dok-1 Max" pills, lemon and honey-flavoured syrup produced by India's Marion Biotech Pvt. purchased from pharmacies in Samarkand.
The sale of these drugs was temporarily suspended from December 22, and a message was sent to the organizations implemented by Quramax Medical LLC.
