Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Stefan Krajewski on April 3, to review the current state and future prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland.
The discussions centered on increasing mutual trade in agricultural products and strengthening supply chains between the two countries. Both sides explored opportunities to expand cooperation through the implementation of joint ventures, particularly in food processing and logistics development.
According to data reviewed during the meeting, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Poland reached $382.7mn in 2025. At present, 49 enterprises with Polish capital are operating in Uzbekistan across sectors including energy, textiles, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, and agribusiness.
The parties also considered initiatives aimed at improving trade infrastructure and business engagement. These included the establishment of distribution centers, increased participation of companies in international trade exhibitions, and the development of direct business-to-business cooperation.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their intention to continue developing bilateral economic relations by advancing new joint initiatives and strengthening cooperation across priority sectors.
