Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, met with a visiting delegation from the U.S. state of Utah, which included members of the Utah State Senate and representatives from the American business community.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed practical avenues for expanding cooperation in key areas such as education, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Special emphasis was placed on fostering women’s entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for joint business development initiatives.
Saida Mirziyoyeva highlighted the strong interest in building ties between Uzbekistan and the state of Utah, particularly with the Silicon Slopes technology hub and Utah-based universities.
Proposals were also made to establish partnerships between Uzbek exporters and the World Trade Center in Salt Lake City, opening new doors for trade and market access.
"I am confident that this is just the beginning of a strong and mutually beneficial partnership," said Mirziyoyeva, expressing optimism about the future of Uzbek-American cooperation.
The meeting reflects Uzbekistan's growing outreach to U.S. regions and business networks, aiming to deepen bilateral relations through concrete collaboration and people-to-people exchanges.
