Recent concerns over a newly introduced cannabis energy drink in Tashkent have been addressed by the Committee for Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health of Uzbekistan. The 330-ml SoStoned energy drink, imported by ALL TRADE AT from the Czech Republic, has been subject to examination.
Following thorough sanitary-hygienic, bacteriological, parasitological, and radiological tests, the Committee issued a sanitary-epidemiological certificate for the imported batch. This certification confirms that the product meets the health and safety standards required for distribution in Uzbekistan.
The ingredients listed on SoStoned's packaging include water, sugar, citric acid, sodium citrate, taurine, caffeine, hemp flavoring, caramel coloring, and a range of vitamins including B2, B6, B12, and pantothenic acid. Laboratory analyses conducted as part of the certification process revealed no presence of toxic or harmful substances detrimental to human health.
Each batch of imported products undergoes meticulous scrutiny, ensuring compliance with Uzbekistan's regulatory requirements. The Committee specified that the SoStoned energy drink has been legally imported since November 2023, and there have been no reported issues of poor quality or incidents of poisoning associated with its consumption.
This assurance from the Committee aims to dispel any misinformation circulating on social media regarding the safety of the SoStoned energy drink, reassuring consumers and stakeholders alike of its suitability for consumption in Uzbekistan.
