An initiative in urban infrastructure is underway in Tashkent as a leading Hungarian IT company, iCell, launches its "Smart Parking" project aimed at revolutionizing parking management in the city.
The project marks a collaboration between iCell and Uzbekistan, facilitated by discussions between the Uzbek ambassador in Hungary, Aybek Shakhavdinov, and iCell representatives. These discussions focused on leveraging iCell's expertise in smart technology to enhance Tashkent's parking infrastructure.
iCell's plan includes the development of a state-of-the-art mobile application designed to enable users to remotely locate and reserve parking spaces across Tashkent. This innovative app will integrate seamless online payment functionalities, streamlining the parking experience for residents and visitors alike.
Known for its specialization in-app maintenance, technological services, and telecommunications, iCell has a robust portfolio that spans auto park management, IoT services, and energy and infrastructure management solutions.
Earlier Ambassador Aybek Shakhavdinov met with Bernard Haider, the director of Aldi's Hungarian department, to explore trade opportunities between Uzbekistan and Aldi.
The discussion centered on tapping into Uzbekistan's export potential and forging future business ties. A significant outcome of the meeting was Aldi's commitment to furnish detailed insights into the Hungarian market, encompassing pricing dynamics, import regulations, and essential product certifications.
