A new partnership, the "Bavaria-Uzbekistan Cooperation Society" (BUK), has been officially established in Bayreuth, Germany, Dunyo reports.
The society's primary objective is to foster, broaden, and strengthen collaboration between the regions of Bavaria and Uzbekistan, encompassing various fields, organizations, and companies. The inaugural meeting held to elect the management board saw the appointment of Dr. Markus Fiedler, a sociologist from Bayreuth, as the president, with Karl-Heinz Breitzmann, a businessman, and Dr. Matthias Olszewski, a medical doctor, serving as vice-presidents.
Dr. Markus Fiedler, in addition to his presidency, will oversee cultural and scientific cooperation, while Vice-President Karlheinz Breitzmann will handle economic collaboration. Dr. Matthias Olszewski will be responsible for coordinating cooperation in the field of medicine and healthcare.
The cooperation society aims to organize cultural programs involving representatives from both regions and plans to arrange meetings with prominent business figures in Bavaria.
Dr. Markus Fiedler, the president of the society, emphasized the strategic timing of the launch, stating, "It is not by chance that we are starting our activity right now. The society's reach should extend across the entirety of Bavaria, and negotiations with Bavarian ministries are on the agenda in the coming days."
