Shavkat Mirziyoyev underscored the importance of expanding product exports to global markets, as communicated by the President's press secretary.
Rather than producing renowned brands themselves, these entities establish specific standards and delegate manufacturing orders to qualified producers. Goods bearing the "made in Uzbekistan" label are competitively priced due to their lack of brand recognition in foreign markets.
The focus is now on creating an environment conducive to establishing these products as recognized brands in international markets, extending beyond their domestic origin. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has initiated orders for 30 well-known brands spanning fabrics, home textiles, underwear, carpets, shoes, leather accessories, dried and preserved fruits and vegetables, confectionery, varnishes, marble, porcelain, tiles, tableware, and sanitary ware. The imperative is to negotiate agreements with sourcing companies and engage local enterprises in the process.
Additionally, there is a directive to establish textile trading houses in Hanoi (Vietnam), Los (Poland), Ivanovo (Russia), and Prata (Italy) within the next year.
